One thing that I understood from my experiences is that while cleaning a dog pee stain, try to get as much or urine out of the carpet fur. No pet odor neutralizer would work if there is urine inside the carpet. If your dog has done the dirty work, the first thing to do is to soak the moisture from the carpet. The spot on the carpet would be a small one, while there would be a bigger stain underneath the carpet on the floor. You need to get the urine out of both places, otherwise no pet stain remover would work.

If someone asks me how to clean dog pee form carpet? my answer is simple, you should take out as much urine as you can. As soon your fiddo does the damage take a towel a spread it onto the pee area. Make sure the towel is thick enough to properly absorb the urine. Then, step onto the towel and apply pressure for several minutes.

Stand on the towel for couple of minutes, then take out the towel and flip it. You will see a big wet spot on the towel. Repeat this step until the towel is dry, and make sure you remember the pee spot because the cleaning isn’t over yet.

Mix water and vinegar in a cup with 1:1 ratio and pour the mixture onto the stain. For bigger dogs use half cup of water and vinegar, while for small dogs and pups quarter cup of both is just fine. After several minutes throw a towel onto the mixture, and let it soak the mixture. Ceiling fan is a good way to dry the carpet, and will also reduce the vinegar smell.
